Patrick is a 1999 graduate of Benjamin Logan High School, a 2002 Magna Cum Laude graduate of Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University (B.S. in Aeronautical Science), and a 2014 Cum Laude graduate of Oklahoma State University (M.S. in Entrepreneurship).  He’s also completed “Squadron Officer’s School” and “Air Command and Staff College” programs as part of the USAF’s professional development education.  Additionally, he's earned the Independent Rental Owner Professional (IROP) credential from the National Apartment Association.

After college, Patrick returned to Logan County in 2002, just as the new airport on the West side of town was being opened and taught folks to fly from 2002-2004. In 2004, he joined the United States Air Force. After graduating from Euro-Nato Joint Jet Pilot Training in Wichita Falls, TX, he chose to fly the B-1B Bomber.  He flew the B-1B from 2006-2009, including one combat tour over Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.  In 2016, Patrick brought his family back home for good and joined Endeavor Air, a regional airline owned by Delta Air Lines, and the Ohio Air National Guard.

Over the years Patrick and his wife, Jenna, spent in the military moving around as renters and as landlords, they learned a lot about the rental business. Upon moving back home to Bellefontaine, they began P. Allan Properties to serve the local rental housing shortage. They’ve since grown the business to include 52 residential rental units as well as added a subsidiary, P. Allan Bug Burning, to provide a safe and affordable way to eradicate bed bugs for tenants as well as home owners.

Currently, Patrick is a licensed Realtor with Zimmerman Realty, a pilot for Delta Air Lines, as well as a part-time Ohio Air National Guardsman serving in rank of Major as an Instructor Pilot and Assistant Flight Commander.
