East Liberty Real Estate: Transportation Mecca
The community of East Liberty truly is a center for the automotive industry in the central Ohio region. Not only are the neighborhoods that make up East Liberty real estate bracketed to the west by US State Route 33 and its interchange, but the area also hosts a few of the state's more established automotive institutions. The Honda Plant is located just outside of the community's backdoor and first opened its doors in 1989. The plant produces the Honda Crosstour, CR-V and Acura RDX. The space is also home to Honda America's research and development department who utilize the large, 7.5-mile track just south of East Liberty.
The Transportation Research Center also utilizes the track and keeps an office in the area. They are charged with putting a large variety of vehicles through their paces to ensure that consumer's vehicles are up to snuff.

East Liberty is the epitome of the "blink, and you might miss it" small-town. The main street consists of just a few local business including Pop's Pizza Parlor and Moore's East Liberty Grocery. The East Liberty Lodge is the only other public institution to be found on the main strip, with just a few blocks of residential housing in each direction. Pop's Pizza Parlor can be easily missed, its low roof and non-descript exterior camouflage the well-regarded local institution.
Of course, one of East Liberty's largest draws is the price of its real estate. In such a quaint and quiet environment, a generous four bedroom home can be yours for less than $300K. And if there are any larger ticket items that you need, the larger cities of Bellefontaine and Marysville are located less than a half hour away, east and west respectively.
